Gamers have started using modern AMD GPUs and they now have a noticeable share in the Steam community.
Valve periodically surveys Steam users about the hardware they use. In early 2026, they presented data for December of last year.
For the first time, AMD Radeon RX 9070 (released in March 2025) appeared in the ranking of the most popular video cards.
The share of AMD Radeon RX 9070 is still small — 0.22%. In the list, it is located between Intel HD Graphics 4600 (share 0.23%) and AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT — 0.22%.
