It seems that players will soon have another reason to return to The Witcher 3.
Last year, Polish journalist-insider Boris Niespielak stated that CD Projekt RED is developing a new add-on for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Recently, a Eurogamer journalist exchanged letters with him. Boris stated that his information was confirmed by several independent sources.
The insider did not share additional information about the DLC for The Witcher 3. However, he noted an interesting point from CDPR's conversation with investors - Boris was "surprised" that people missed it.
CFO Piotr Nielubowicz mentioned "new content":
[...] Given our current progress, there is a possibility that the new content hinted at in recent conference calls and reports may be released in the coming [2026], affecting our results and increasing the likelihood of meeting the revenue condition for the first phase of the incentive program
CD Projekt RED told Eurogamer that it "does not comment on rumors and speculation" (this is the company's usual position).
