In the USA, one user's gaming PC appears to have saved the life of his 3-year-old son. Reddit user "theonlyalankay" posted a photo of a case with a bullet hole in the fan grille and a damaged window.
PC stopped a bullet and saved my child's life.
Several shots were fired at the house from the outside, one bullet flew into the living room where the son was playing with LEGO a few centimeters from the computer.
The angle, the moment, and the fact that the son was standing right there could have led to tragedy. If it weren't for the PC, centimeters would have decided everything.
Police found three bullets: in the wall of the house, in the doorway, and in the PC case. The reasons for the shots are still unknown, the father suspects a former partner who violated a restraining order.
Reddit users reacted with jokes:
Is the PC okay and, more importantly, is the RAM okay?
According to "theonlyalankay", the PC is working: the case is pierced, but the internal components are intact. Only the fan needs to be replaced; RAM, motherboard, video card and processor were not damaged.
