Some older characters get buffed over time.
Recently, insiders have started teasing changes to the Honkai Star Rail 4.0 update. Now miHoYo (HoYoverse) has spoken out.
HSR developers have confirmed that Sparkle and Black Swan will receive buffs - the characters are going to be strengthened in the upcoming update.
So far, the creators of Honkai Star Rail have not begun to reveal the details of the character enhancements:
After the release of version 4.0, the exclusive 5★ characters Sparkle (Harmony: Quantum) and Black Swan (Nihility: Wind) will receive a buff!
Usually, the changes made affect eidolons and the mechanics of how skills work. For example,previously, Silver Wolf's ultimate ability was made a group attack, and Kafka's skill began to deal additional damage to all enemies, not just the main target.
