Arc Raiders fan shouted for help so loudly that a neighbor came and started kicking the door down

In Arc Raiders, some players use voice chat. Sometimes outsiders misunderstand the cries for help, thinking that a disaster has happened in reality.

A user under the nickname dreamthorp stated that during a raid in Arc Raiders, he began shouting for help so loudly that a neighbor reacted—he came and started kicking the door down:

My heart almost jumped out of my chest when I saw the door buckle as if an explosion had occurred behind it.

Not everyone believed him and accused him of publishing an AI-generated video, as the recording cuts off abruptly at the moment the strike was supposed to land. In response, dreamthorp showed a photo of the door (which also failed to convince everyone).

Then he updated the post and said that he decided to get some beer for the neighbor:

Bought the guy a beer. He wasn't dressed, so he asked not to take pictures of him. Here are his boots in the frame. He said he works as a firefighter, so he acted on autopilot.

Players' screams in Arc Raiders have already led to similar incidents; for example, the police visited one fan of the extraction game because neighbors heard his cry for help.

A community member under the nickname iwaspaso said that while playing Arc Raiders, he switches to another language so as not to disturb the neighbors with requests for help:

I always use my second language when I ask for help so that the neighbors know it's not serious
