The European rating organization Pan European Game Information (PEGI) has assigned an age rating to the Switch 2 version of Splatoon 3.
Splatoon 3 continues to receive regular updates since its launch. The latest of these was released on September 3, 2025, and included weapon balance changes and other improvements. Previously, on June 12, 2025, a free patch was released, optimizing graphics and frame rates specifically for Nintendo Switch 2.
