According to Deadline, the actor is in final negotiations for a key villain role in Matt Reeves' universe. Insider Jeff Sneider claims that the role in question is Harvey Dent — the Gotham prosecutor destined to turn into Two-Face.
If the rumor is confirmed, this will be the first appearance of Two-Face on the big screen since Aaron Eckhart's version in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight." Furthermore, this would not be the first transition of an actor from Marvel to DC: it was previously reported that Scarlett Johansson has also joined the film's cast.
