Filming for the fourth solo Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland concluded at the end of December 2025. The film will also feature Sadie Sink in one of the key roles, but there is still no confirmed information regarding exactly who she will play.
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, timed to the finale of the series Stranger Things, the actress admitted that maintaining secrecy is extremely difficult for her.
“It's torture! There are so many rumors — I feel like a theory about a new character appears every week.”
The actress shared that she closely follows fan theories — largely because they were the starting point of her journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Sink, she learned about her own participation in the film from the internet a few days before the official invitation.
Since the casting announcement, fans have been actively discussing which role the actress might perform. During filming, she was repeatedly spotted alongside Tom Holland, and Sink maintained her natural red hair color. This gave rise to versions about Jean Grey, Mary Jane Watson, or Mayday Parker — the daughter of Peter Parker from the Tobey Maguire universe. Later, the actress fueled interest even further by noting that hair color can be easily changed, which only confused the situation more.
The premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day will take place on July 31. However, this will not be Sink's last appearance in the cinematic universe: according to Deadline, the actress will also star in Avengers: Secret Wars, the release of which is planned for December 2027.
