Doom and The Last of Us Authors Showcase Gameplay of Cyberpunk Project Defect for PS5, XSX, and PC

Emptyvessel studio is in an advanced stage of developing Defect. The team includes developers who previously worked on Doom, Borderlands, and The Last of Us.
The first gameplay showed a cyberpunk, dystopian world where battles take place with both other players and AI-controlled opponents.
Defect offers a single-player offline mode, but the main focus is on online team play, including a PvP module for four teams. The soundtrack is created by Mick Gordon, known for Doom.
The team announced that the premiere will take place in the near future. The game will be released not only on PC, as previously announced, but also on consoles, which is confirmed by an official statement from the publisher.
