Recently, the famous insider Tom Henderson stated that the content for Grand Theft Auto VI is already ready and now Rockstar Games is polishing it.
However, another insider-journalist Jason Schreier stated that this is not the case:
The last thing I heard was that the content for the game was still not finished. That is, the developers were still finishing various things, finalizing levels and missions, deciding what would be included in the game at all.
Schreier does not rule out the postponement of GTA VI
I don't think anyone at Rockstar can tell you right now with 100% certainty that they will make it and release the game in November.
So far, the release of Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for November 2026. Many members of the gaming community doubt that the project will be released this year.
