Set up notifications: The first gaming event of 2026, New Game+ Showcase, starts tonight
The New Game+ Showcase, the opening of the new season for the gaming industry, will be held on January 9, 2026. The event is organized by six independent studios without paid advertising.
The goal is to allow games from indie to AAA to announce themselves without marketing pressure.
For RPG fans, the key will be the showing of The Blood of Dawnwalker. The game is being created by Rebel Wolves, which employs former CD Projekt RED developers who participated in the creation of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.
In total, 45 projects will be presented at the show. Among those confirmed are: The Blood of Dawnwalker, Crimson Desert, new Atomic Heart DLC, The Cube from Mundfish, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, ExeKiller, The Eternal Life of Goldman, Dragon Twin. The presentation may clarify plans for the release of The Blood of Dawnwalker, scheduled for 2026.
