Jason Schreier is a very authoritative source, so his every word is carefully tracked. Recently, his comments have greatly influenced what is happening in the market.
During a podcast, the journalist suggested that GTA VI might repeat the fate of Red Dead Redemption 2 (it was postponed a couple of times before release). However, his words were interpreted as if "the release date will be 100% postponed":
Take-Two shares fell 4.26% due to rumors of a GTA VI delay, based on a podcast in which I did not say that "GTA VI will be delayed."
The betting market also reacted - users began to actively bet on the option of another postponement of the GTA VI release date.
Schreier commented on what was happening: "It's impossible to overstate how stupid this is."
