Looks Like Microsoft Will Release More Games on PS5 Than Sony Again in 2026
Microsoft continues to publish its games on PlayStation 5. During yesterday's New Game+ Showcase, the release of two projects on PS5 was confirmed: Avowed and Towerborne.
Previously, South of Midnight and Halo: Campaign Evolved were already confirmed for PS5, and it seems the list will grow. Microsoft is almost completely abandoning classic exclusivity. More and more signals indicate that the company's future games will be released simultaneously on Xbox, PC, and PS5. Xbox is ceasing to be a closed ecosystem, and Microsoft is positioning itself as a global publisher.
This is a new but risky strategy: it is difficult to predict the reaction of players. If all games are multiplatform, is there any point in buying an Xbox when they can be played on PS6? The answer may determine the future of the Xbox brand.
