The publication Mobilegamer.biz has published the December ranking of the most downloaded mobile games according to data from the analytical platform AppMagic. Traditionally, the statistics did not take into account the Chinese Android market.
First place was once again taken by Block Blast, showing one of its best months ever — more than 38 million installations. This is only slightly lower than the April record of 42.5 million and a clear confirmation that the game remains the main hit among casual projects.
Roblox holds steady in second place with about 24 million downloads. Despite the winter holidays, growth was more modest than expected, but the figures still exceeded last year's: in December 2024, Roblox gathered 21.7 million installations.
The top three is rounded out by Free Fire from Garena. The shooter, which stayed at the top for almost the entire year, gained about 22 million downloads in December — on par with previous months, but significantly lower than the summer peak of 27 million.
Among the unexpected breakthroughs of the month, analysts highlight School Party Craft and Block Crazy Robo World Craft — both games exceeded the 10 million installations mark. These projects actively borrow ideas from Minecraft and Roblox, focusing on user-generated content, creativity, and social interaction.
