Not only Valve games are very popular.
Analysts from GameDiscoverCo presented a ranking of the most popular games (data as of October 2025).
According to their research, Counter-Strike 2 is in the libraries of almost 319 million users.
In second place in popularity is also a Valve game - Dota 2 has 226.6 million players, and the top three is closed by PUBG: Battlegrounds - 169.6 million players.
In fourth place is Team Fortress 2 - 100.5 million players, and in fifth place is Apex Legends with 70 million.
According to analysts, Payday 2 overtook Call of Duty - 39.5 million copies versus 39.1 million (this was before the release of Black Ops 7).
