Atlus continues to develop the Persona series, despite fan fatigue after the release of Persona 5: The Phantom X.
Persona 5 has been a huge success, making the brand known to a wide audience, which has brought significant revenue to Atlus and Sega. This has allowed the company to work on a sequel, release spin-offs, and bring back old parts of the series. One of the experiments - Persona 5: The Phantom X - has not yet made the same impression.
The game received the title of the fastest abandoned game of 2025 according to How Long To Beat and received only 49% positive reviews on Steam.
Nevertheless, the developers continue to work and present new promotional material demonstrating the content planned for the free adventure.
