Grand Theft Auto VI Leaked Three Times, Rockstar Confirmed
Rockstar Games has confirmed three separate leaks of Grand Theft Auto VI information during legal proceedings, resulting in the dismissal of three employees in the UK, USA, and India. The studio reiterated its zero-tolerance policy for data breaches.
In April 2025, an employee from Lincoln (UK) was fired for passing confidential information about GTA VI to a third party, who then published it on social media. Another employee was fired in the US in November 2023, and a third in India in November 2025 for two separate leaks.
The confirmation of the dismissals coincides with a leak from X user GameRoll, who detailed weight mechanics, a "relationship bar," gameplay differences for male and female characters, a two-protagonist option, character details, and other elements.
If GameRoll's leak is accurate, including the full names of the main characters-Lucia Caminos and Jason Duvall-it corroborates the authenticity of many other leaks. Rockstar has officially acknowledged some of this data.
