After numerous complaints from players and streamers comparing the situation with cheaters in ARC Raiders to Call of Duty, Embark has finally started taking action.
In recent days, dozens of messages have appeared in the community about a wave of bans: users using aimbots, exploits and other types of cheats are temporarily suspended from the game. A standard notification appears on the screen: "Your account has been temporarily blocked for behavior that violates our code of conduct." The term of the first punishment is 30 days.
According to information from the community (including screenshots from the cheaters themselves), a more severe punishment is provided for repeated violations - a "hardware" ban, which makes it impossible to launch the game on the same computer even with a new account.
Players are generally happy with at least some action from the developers, but believe that the measures are too soft and demand that the bans be immediately permanent and "hardware"-based.
