Roskomnadzor does not yet see grounds for lifting the block on the platform.
Roskomnadzor told RIA Novosti that there are currently no prerequisites for lifting restrictions on the Roblox gaming platform in Russia. The agency emphasized that the blocking decision remains in force, as no grounds for its revision have yet been identified.
Earlier, media reports indicated that Roblox had allegedly begun to comply with the regulator's requirements. In particular, users noted the introduction of an age verification mechanism in the game, which was seen as a step towards the Russian supervisory authorities.
However, Roskomnadzor did not consider these reports a sufficient reason to lift the restrictions.
