Shift Up Celebrates Stellar Blade's Success with Generous Bonuses - Employees Receive Apple Watches and Cash
Shift Up studio celebrated a successful 2025 with generous bonuses for its employees. Developers received Apple Watches, AirPods, and 5 million won each. Previously, the company had already rewarded the team with PS5 Pro and Nintendo Switch 2 - for the success of Stellar Blade.
According to the report, the studio held a ceremony where more than 300 employees received gifts and cash payments. The total value of the bonus package per person exceeded $3000.
2025 was one of the most successful years for Shift Up: Stellar Blade was released on PC and showed record performance. The game sold 1 million copies on PC 19 times faster than on PS5, and provided the company with record profits in the second quarter.
Stellar Blade is not only a commercially successful project, but also a notable event for the Korean gaming industry. The studio is already actively recruiting a team to develop a sequel. The sequel will not be a timed PlayStation exclusive.
