DOOM Shooter Launched on a Multicooker and Gameplay Shown
Connoisseurs continue to use a variety of devices as "gaming" platforms.
Aaron Christophel recently showcased another device capable of running DOOM. This time, the experiment was conducted with a smart multicooker.
The specifications of Cook4Me proved sufficient to launch the legendary shooter: Renesas R7S721031VZ processor (Arm, 32-bit), 128 MB of RAM and another 128 MB of flash memory, as well as STM32, ESP32, and PIC microcontrollers.
He reflashed the device to play DOOM, using the touchscreen as a "controller."
Aaron Christophel did not make the firmware publicly available "due to the rarity of this device."
