Doctor Doom May Assemble His Own Villain Team in 'Avengers: Secret Wars' — Rumor
In the upcoming Marvel crossover, it seems that not only heroes from across the multiverse will unite.
According to insiders, in the movie Avengers: Secret Wars, Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., may assemble his own team of villains. Several sources have started talking about this almost simultaneously.
The first to report this was insider Muzahid Matin. According to him, the group will be called "Heralds of Doom," and it will include Captain Hydra, Maestro Hulk, King Thanos, and several alternative versions of Doctor Doom himself from different universes.
Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus reacted to this rumor. He confirmed the existence of the villainous team but clarified that its name in the final version of the film will most likely be different.
Additional details were provided by insider Daniel Richtman. According to him, Doctor Doom will have several masked assistants — both men and women. However, it is not yet clear whether we are talking about his followers or variants of characters from alternative realities.
The world premiere of "Avengers: Secret Wars" is scheduled for December 18, 2026.
