CD Projekt RED revealed the exact sales of The Witcher series
In its latest financial reports, CDPR confirmed the total sales of The Witcher series. At the same time, the exact figures for each game in the trilogy became known.
The discussion was sparked by an exchange on the X platform. Michal Nowakowski responded to a message from Michal Król with a list of the best-selling Polish games, pointing out that the initial version was incorrect because it did not take into account sales of The Witcher and The Witcher 2. This significantly changes the overall picture.
Nowakowski also announced specific figures. The Witcher 2 sold 15 million copies, The Witcher approximately 10 million, and The Witcher 3 remains the most successful Polish game in history with 60 million copies sold.
Collectively, these data show that we are not just talking about high sales, but about an outstanding result. The trilogy has received updates and has been released on new platforms for many years, but even taking this into account, the scale of success remains exceptional.
