New Hint at Black Flag Remake: Ubisoft Begins Re-uploading Assassin's Creed IV Soundtrack on YouTube
It was previously reported that Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced would be released in March.
The official Ubisoft Music YouTube account has begun re-uploading the soundtrack from the original Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. At the time of writing, 18 tracks have been uploaded. In addition, activity has been noticed on other Ubisoft YouTube channels with playlists: some videos are being added to collections but remain hidden.
Fans speculate that the company is preparing to announce a remake, unofficially known as Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced.
Insider Gaming previously reported that the Black Flag remake, codenamed Obsidian, has been in development for some time and is expected to be released before the end of Ubisoft's current fiscal year, i.e., before March 31, 2026.
However, the situation is complicated by conflicting information. According to some sources, the marketing campaign for the Black Flag remake was supposedly scheduled to start in January, with a release planned for March.
