As Reddit users noticed, Russell Brower, a specialist with extensive experience in the entertainment industry, has joined the studio's audio team. He is a three-time Emmy Award winner, and his participation in the development of The Wither 4 indicates the studio's serious attention to the audiovisual component of the project.
Brower is primarily known to players for his work at Blizzard. During the company's heyday, he served as Director of Audio and Composer and participated in the creation of World of Warcraft, Diablo III, and StarCraft II.
Brower's experience working on large game worlds is well suited to the tasks of The Witcher universe. His move to CD Projekt RED can be considered one of the most notable personnel moves in the gaming industry in 2026.
