All games from the German publisher ThiGames (ThiGamesDE) have suddenly disappeared from the PlayStation Store. According to streamer and trophy hunter RobThanatos, who first noticed the changes, 1,194 games have been removed from the store, making ThiGames the fourth largest publisher in the PSN in terms of the number of released projects (after eastasiasoft, Ratalaika Games, and Webnetic).
Among the removed titles are entire series of extremely simple games like The Jumping Fries, The Jumping Taco, The Jumping Hot Dog, The Jumping Soda, The Jumping Burrito, The Jumping Taco TURBO, and many similar projects where the player usually just needs to jump or run the controlled object (most often food). These games have gained a reputation as typical garbage software, assembled from recycled assets, which are played only for easy trophies.
Trophies already earned by players for these games have remained in their profiles. However, the projects themselves are no longer available for purchase or download in any region.
The community has generally greeted the news positively: many players and developers have long complained that such massive low-quality releases clutter the store, interfere with the normal visibility of quality projects, and spoil the overall reputation of the platform.
