Fallout Shelter-Themed Reality Show Gets the Green Light - Casting Has Already Begun
The project will be another experiment by Amazon to expand the Fallout franchise.
Amazon continues to expand the Fallout screen universe. The company has officially confirmed the launch of the Fallout Shelter reality show, inspired by the Bethesda mobile game of the same name.
The ten-episode project will combine elements of survival, psychology, and social strategy. According to Amazon's description, participants will find themselves in meticulously recreated Vault-Tec shelters, where they will have to pass a series of increasingly complex challenges and make strategic and moral decisions in the fight for a cash prize.
Casting for participation in the show is already open. As indicated on the official recruitment page, the challenges will be built around the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. characteristics system — participants will have to test their strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, agility, and luck.
The reality show will be produced by Studio Lambert, known for Squid Game: The Challenge and The Traitors. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy from Kilter Films, the producers of the Fallout series, are also involved in the project. Todd Howard and James Altman from Bethesda Game Studios are listed among the executive producers.
The premiere date for Fallout Shelter has not yet been announced.
