Analysts Estimate Sales of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered on PS5
According to Alinea Analytics, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered has sold approximately 1.1 million copies on PS5.
Moreover, about half of the players logged around 15 hours of gameplay before moving on to other projects, which may indicate performance issues or bugs.
For comparison, Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 sold over 5 million copies. The release of Gears of War Reloaded on PS5 reached 572,000 copies, on Xbox — 202,000, and on Steam — 73,000. Alinea estimates that part of the sales were "eaten" by the Game Pass subscription: 1.6 million players gained access to Reloaded through the service.
It is noted that for many PlayStation owners, this was their first experience with Gears of War, while the series has long been available on Xbox.
