Re:ZERO Anime Returns with Second Season 4 Trailer and Anniversary Announcements
Kadokawa celebrated the tenth anniversary of "Re:Zero. Starting Life in Another World."
Kadokawa has unveiled the second full trailer for the fourth season of the anime "Re:Zero. Starting Life in Another World." The trailer features the opening theme Recollect performed by Konomi Suzuki with the participation of singer Ashnikko.
Simultaneously, the company released a commemorative art and a digest trailer dedicated to the anime's tenth anniversary, and announced a series of thematic events to be held throughout the year. These include quizzes, voting for the best episodes, selections of trailers and songs, podcasts, as well as the Re:ZERO Exhibition, which will take place at the Shibuya BEAM gallery in Tokyo from September 12 to October 4.
The fourth season will continue the story of Subaru and his companions. The heroes will have to cross the dangerous Auguria Desert to reach the Pleiades Watchtower. After the tragic events in Priestella, Rem remains in a coma under the influence of the Archbishop of Greed's powers.
In an attempt to save Rem, Subaru learns about the legendary sage Shaula — the "all-seeing" one, who is credited with knowing all the secrets of the world. However, the path to the tower lies through deadly dunes filled with monsters and spatial anomalies.
The anime is once again being produced by White Fox studio. Masahiro Shinohara, who previously worked on the third season, became the director of the season. Character designer Haruka Segawa, composer Masahiro Yokotani, monster specialist Keitaro Chiba, and other key members also returned to the team. The script is written by the author of the original light novel, Tappei Nagatsuki.
The premiere of the fourth season of Re:ZERO is scheduled for April 2026.
