DOOM Launched in Hytale and Gameplay Shown

The sandbox game Hytale was recently released in "early access" format. The project has attracted a variety of players, including experiment enthusiasts.
tr7zw said that he managed to launch DOOM inside Hytale even before the release of the early version:
[...] 2-3 sleepless nights later - here is the result: Doom works 100% inside a mod for Hytale, even before the release of Hytale itself.
The controls are a bit like a broken keyboard, the code doesn't follow best practices at all, but it works enough to play.
The modder clarified that DOOM is fully rendered and controlled in Hytale, the sound comes from the server, not the client. He published his "bad code" of the project in open access.
