Looks like Rockstar will break the secrecy and let you play GTA VI before release - to fulfill the dream of a dying fan
It seems that Rockstar Games has responded to the request of a terminally ill fan of the franchise.
Recently, on a social network, a Ubisoft employee Anthony Armstrong said that his relative is fighting cancer, but doctors give him no more than 6-12 months of life - there is a high risk that he will not be able to see the release of GTA VI in November 2026.
He appealed to colleagues to help contact Rockstar to fulfill the last wish of GTA fans and organize an exclusive playtest for him.
Then Anthony stated that the head of Take-Two Strauss Zelnick contacted him and soon added to the post:
We spoke to them today and got great news. That's all I can say, but thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Subsequently, the post was deleted - players assume that this is due to the NDA (non-disclosure agreement).
It seems that they managed to agree and the fan will have time to play the early version of Grand Theft Auto VI.
