About thirty superheroes are already involved in "Avengers: Doctor Doom", including veterans of the cinematic universe and newcomers like the new "Fantastic Four". However, one of the most recognizable members of the original team will remain behind the scenes.
Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner, confirmed in an interview with Empire, timed to coincide with the promotion of the film "Crime 101", that the green giant will not be in "Doctor Doom". At the same time, the actor emphasized that he is not going to say goodbye to the character for good.
"The main thing is that they continue to come up with cool things with the Hulk. This role has given me so much. You know, I probably wouldn't have starred in "Crime 101" if it wasn't for "The Avengers"."
His next appearance is expected in the film "Spider-Man: All New Day", which will be released in theaters on July 31, 2026. After that, Ruffalo does not rule out returning to the role in future Marvel projects.
