Nintendo Showed How Switch 2 Improves Old Hits. The Difference Is Noticeable
Nintendo has released a video showing how games from the first Switch work on Switch 2 and what improvements they receive. It's not about radical changes, but about specific improvements: a clearer image, stable performance, HDR support, and new control options.
After the release of Switch 2 in June, the company gradually updates the games, and now has collected them in one trailer. The video shows which projects should be launched first. Often, the changes directly affect the comfort of the passage.
One of the most illustrative examples is Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Here, the increase in smoothness and picture quality is especially noticeable.
Super Mario Odyssey received improved graphics, HDR, and GameShare support for cooperative play. Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 acquired new controls using the "mouse" mode in Joy-Con 2.
Improvements also affected The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker — a cleaner image and HDR, and in the case of Captain Toad, also GameShare.
