Free Fighting Game 2XKO from the Creators of League of Legends Coming to PS5 and Xbox Tomorrow
Players will be able to try out 2XKO this week. Riot Games is fueling interest in the project with a new gameplay trailer.
Recently, the fighting game genre has lacked notable releases capable of interesting not only the tournament audience, but also the mass player. It seems the situation is changing — the project is being handled by a studio with experience working on major franchises and high community expectations.
2XKO will be released on January 21, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The first season will start simultaneously, so the game will appear immediately with a set of content and a plan for further development, and not in an early launch format.
2XKO is a free-to-play 2v2 fighting game. In the first season, a new character, Caitlyn, will appear. She specializes in controlling space, attacks from a distance, and uses traps. The game will also feature new skins, a battle pass, and other elements of the service model.
