He-Man Returns: First Teaser of "Masters of the Universe" with Nicholas Galitzine and Jared Leto Unveiled
The authors promised to return with a full trailer tomorrow.
Amazon and MGM have presented the first teaser for the movie "Masters of the Universe" — a new interpretation of the once-cult 80s fantasy, based on the Mattel toy line and animated series. The short video shows viewers only a few seconds from the upcoming blockbuster with a budget of about $200 million, and a full trailer is promised to be presented tomorrow.
According to the plot, Prince Adam returns to his home planet of Eternia after 15 years of exile. The Sword of Power calls him home, but instead of the familiar world, the hero finds ruins and the kingdom of the tyrant Skeletor. To save his loved ones and restore balance, Adam must once again accept his destiny and become He-Man — the most powerful hero in the Universe.
The main role was played by Nicholas Galitzine, known for the film "Red, White & Royal Blue". The cast also includes Camila Mendes and Idris Elba, and the main antagonist is Jared Leto, who tried on the image of Skeletor.
Travis Knight is in charge of the production, and the script was written by Chris Butler, Aaron and Adam Nee, as well as Dave Callaham.
The premiere of "Masters of the Universe" is scheduled for June 5, 2026.
