Director and screenwriter James Gunn has published the full script of his "Superman", posting the 132-page document in open access. At the time of publication, the post with a link to the script has already gained more than 2.7 million views.
The publication became part of Warner Bros.' awards campaign. The studio is nominating "Superman" for an Oscar and decided to make the script available to everyone, as often happens when promoting films in the "Best Original Screenplay" category.
Earlier, Warner Bros. also presented the film among the contenders for the Golden Globe, including nominations for best dramatic film, directing, as well as acting by David Corensvet and Nicholas Hoult. However, none of the support applications were received: the ceremony, which took place on January 11, left "Superman" without awards.
The nominees for this year's Oscar will be announced today, January 22, at 16:30 Moscow time.
