Amazon MGM has unveiled the first full trailer for the movie "Masters of the Universe." This large-scale fantasy brings back He-Man, Skeletor, and the planet Eternia to the screen. Travis Knight, who previously directed Bumblebee, is directing, and the main role is played by Nicholas Galitzine, known for the movie Red, White & Royal Blue.
The trailer begins with fragments of the life of an ordinary office clerk, Adam Glenn, who is haunted by dreams of a distant world where magic coexists with high technology. Everything changes when he finds the Sword of Power and ends up in Eternia—a world from which he was banished many years ago. There, the hero must remember his true purpose and confront Skeletor, played by Jared Leto.
Travis Knight is the director of the film. The cast also includes Camila Mendes, Idris Elba, Morena Baccarin, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Charlotte Riley, Johannes Haukur Johannesson, and Kristen Wiig.
The premiere of "Masters of the Universe" in foreign distribution is scheduled for June 5, 2026.

"Masters of the Universe" is based on the toy line of the same name by Mattel, the creators of Barbie. Launched in the 1980s, the series quickly became a cultural phenomenon and eventually grew into a full-fledged media universe with animated series, films, comics, arcade games, and other spin-offs.
