Digital Extremes Announces Warframe Android Release Date and Reveals Pre-Registration Rewards
Two years after its release on iOS, the action RPG is finally coming to Google Play.
Digital Extremes announced on its official website that the full release of Warframe for Android will take place on February 18. Prior to that, a regional launch will start in Canada — the regional launch will begin there on February 11. The studio noted that the mobile version will allow players to "continue the Tenno path anywhere."
The mobile version supports synchronization and progress saving between platforms, and is also optimized for touch controls.
In honor of the release, Digital Extremes has launched a pre-registration campaign. Everyone who registers via Google Play and enters the game before March 4 will receive the "Cumulus" set, which includes "Cirrus" armor, "Cumulus" syandana, "Stratus" pistol skin, "Spectacra" palette, and a resource booster for three days.
At the same time, a new "Fulmin" combat set will appear in the game — a set for beginner Tenno, including a rifle, "Split Chamber" mod, "Opula" ephemera, and synthesis, credit, and resource boosters.
Warframe Mobile was first introduced back in 2021. The iOS version was released in February 2024, and the release on Android was repeatedly postponed due to the limited user base of high-performance devices. Now the studio believes that the platform is ready for a stable launch.
