Some players are still waiting for a new game about hackers.
Recently, well-known insider Tom Henderson upset Watch Dogs fans who were expecting the franchise to return with a new game.
According to his information, the Watch Dogs franchise is dead:
After the release of [Watch Dogs: Legion], they moved on to another project that was in development for 3 or 4 years, and it was canceled. It wasn't Watch Dogs. And as far as I know at the moment, the Watch Dogs franchise is completely dead.
However, now Watch Dogs fans have new hope. Another insider, Shinobi602, stated that "this is not quite so" (allegedly the franchise is alive), and then clarified "it's not about the movie."
Shinobi602 did not specify what exactly is being prepared for the Watch Dogs franchise.
