Only a True Steam Gamer Can Become a Palworld Game Designer - Developers Study Libraries
Pocketpair needs people with extensive gaming experience.
Recently, Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe, in communication with developers on social media, shared how the studio approaches hiring for the position of game designer.
As it turns out, applicants will have to reveal their Steam library and game history:
At Pocketpair, we require game designers to provide screenshots of their game history on Steam. (In fact, people who haven't played on Steam don't even pass the initial application screening).
A potential Palworld developer will need to analyze the games in which they have spent the most time on Steam:
During the interview at Pocketpair, candidates are asked to explain the specifics of the games in their profile with the most playtime on Steam: why, in the candidate's opinion, was this mechanic chosen, what are the features of this project compared to others in the genre, etc.
