Actress Eman Ayaz, supposedly playing the role of Farah in the canceled remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, spoke about the closure of the project and called this event the most painful experience in her career.
In a video on her YouTube channel, Ayaz avoids direct confirmation of her role, but admits that she spent three years working on an unannounced Ubisoft project — judging by the description, it was the Prince of Persia remake. According to the actress, she learned about the game's cancellation not from the publisher, but from the news — on the same day that the information appeared in the media.
The hardest part is that you can't even properly grieve the loss. You can't talk about it openly, and it's very difficult to accept.
The news of the cancellation was an emotional blow for her: the actress's brother informed her about the fate of the game by forwarding a message in a messenger. Over the three years of work, Ayaz repeatedly turned down other offers to stay in the project. According to her, it was the best role in her life — and now no one will ever see it.
A separate problem was the legal side: the release of the game could have helped Ayaz get a work visa in the United States and open access to new projects. However, due to the cancellation and a strict non-disclosure agreement, the actress does not even have the right to use her work as confirmation of professional experience.
