Hytale has become one of the fastest-growing mod communities on CurseForge. In two weeks, players downloaded more than 10 million mods, and over 2,000 creators have already released more than 3,000 modifications for the game.
The CurseForge portal has become the official platform for Hytale mods since the game's launch, and Hypixel Studios founder and studio CEO Simon Collins-Laflamme directly calls the partnership with the service one of the reasons for the project's success.
We've come full circle: we started as modders and ended up creating our own game. Seeing fans create mods on such a scale just a few weeks after release is the best confirmation that the risk was worth it.
Hypixel Studios previously reported a "very high" peak online at the start of early access. Moreover, even before the release, it became known that pre-orders for Hytale provided funding for the studio's development for the next two years.
