Fans are awaiting an update for the original game.
Recently, rumors and "insider info" have been spreading online suggesting that Warhorse Studios is preparing a next-gen update for the first game. It seems they are starting to be confirmed.
At the end of January 2026, players noticed a description of the PS5 version on the KCD page in the PlayStation Store.
According to this description, the next-gen version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance:
[...] includes graphical updates, including 4K resolution, improved frame rates, high-resolution textures, and much more. Medieval Bohemia has never been so beautiful.
