Xbox Game Pass adds two games - one of the PC hits is released on consoles for the first time
Xbox Game Pass subscribers have gained access to two new games - Drop Duchy and Anno: Mutationem.
One of the new additions is Drop Duchy. Although the company doesn't call it a "subscription premiere", the game is actually released on Xbox consoles for the first time: previously it was only available on PC and now it has immediately appeared on Xbox Game Pass.
Drop Duchy combines several genres. It is based on geometric puzzles, but instead of simply drawing lines, the player has to build a village from various shapes and elements. The process includes developing the economy, collecting resources, defending the castle, and preparing the army for clashes with enemies. The game also features deck-building and rogue-lite elements: optimization plays a key role, and defeats unlock new opportunities and support overall progress.
The second game is Anno: Mutationem. This is an action-adventure with RPG elements in a neon cyberpunk setting, where 2D graphics are combined with 3D environments. Players take on the role of Ann, a mercenary on a personal mission in a massive metropolis. As you progress, you will encounter megacorporations, mysterious groups, and unusual creatures.
Both games are now available on Xbox Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
