4Divinity recently reminded players about The Defiant project and presented a new trailer. This is a shooter built on the modern Unreal Engine 5, dedicated to the confrontation between China and Japan during World War II.
The Defiant developers noted that the campaign "is intended to rethink the first-person shooter genre's approach to history, offering a perspective rarely seen in interactive entertainment." The events will unfold in occupied villages, snow-covered forests, enemy-controlled cities, and more.
