Researchers continue to revisit GTA VI promotional materials.
While waiting for new promotional materials for Grand Theft Auto VI, fans are revisiting old artwork and trailers, noticing new details.
Recently, well-known Rockstar community blogger ben drew attention to the clouds — in the second trailer they differ from those shown to players in the debut video:

Then ben continued and explained his view of the evolution of the clouds in GTA VI:
In the first trailer, they looked denser and more massive — very reminiscent of the clouds from Red Dead Redemption 2. But in the second trailer, the style of the cloud depiction became softer; they are fluffier, which is more in line with a typical daytime sky in South Florida.
For now, the release of Grand Theft Auto VI is expected in November 2026.
