The cast of the adaptation of God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok continues to grow.
As Deadline reports, Icelandic actor Olafur Darri Olafsson has joined the cast of the God of War series and will play Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Olafsson previously appeared in the series "Severance," "Friends and Neighbors," "True Detective," and "Trapped."
Ryan Hurst (Kratos), Teresa Palmer (Sif), and Max Parker (Heimdall) have already been confirmed as part of the project's cast. The series is written and showrun by Ronald D. Moore ("For All Mankind"). He is also among the executive producers alongside Cory Barlog and Asad Qizilbash from PlayStation Productions.
The premiere date of the God of War series has not yet been disclosed. The project will be released on Prime Video.
