Moon Beast Productions - a studio founded by former Blizzard developers who worked on Diablo - is preparing to announce its debut ARPG.
Although the project does not yet have an official title, the studio has a strong track record. Moon Beast Productions includes veterans from Blizzard North who participated in the development of Diablo, Torchlight, and Hellgate: London. Most of the team worked on Diablo 2.
In a Discord message, Phil Shenk, the lead character artist for Diablo 2, announced that the project, currently under the working title "GAME NAME," will be revealed on Thursday, January 29, at 17:00 Moscow time. At that same moment, the game's Steam page, Kickstarter page, and official website will go live.
Despite the lack of a final title, players won't have to wait long to try it out. Shenk confirmed:
The demo will be available on Steam before Next Fest, which kicks off on February 23.
