The French studio Sandfall Interactive, known for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, decided to support their compatriots on release day. On social network X, the developers congratulated The Game Bakers on the launch of their new game — the climbing simulator Cairn, which has already made its way to Steam and PlayStation 5.

"Expedition 69's favorite game is out now! Congratulations to our friends from Montpellier, The Game Bakers!"

The mention of Expedition 69 is no coincidence. In the world of Clair Obscur, this is a legendary squad of explorers who mapped the continent and left a noticeable mark on its history. According to the lore, the expedition members forged a path through mountainous regions, leaving handholds and landmarks for those who would come after them. That is why the climbing simulator Cairn could very well be their "favorite game."

Cairn was released on February 29 and quickly resonated with players. On Steam, the project has collected more than 2,000 reviews and maintains a 94% positive rating.
