The film's lead role will be played by Fumiya Takahashi (Yoichi Isagi), known for the series "Kamen Rider 01." Also among the already confirmed actors are Kaito Sakurai (Meguru Bachira), Kyohei Takahashi (Hyoma Chigiri), and Kota Nomura (Rensuke Kunigami).

The film is directed by Yusuke Taki, the screenplay was written by Tetsuo Kamata, and the project's producer is Shinzo Matsuehashi. The exact premiere date has not yet been announced; however, given the plan to release the film in time for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the premiere is expected in the summer, between June and July.

The story follows young footballer Yoichi Isagi, who dreams of becoming the greatest striker in the world. After Japan's national team fails at the 2018 World Cup, the country's football association hires the eccentric coach Jinpachi Ego. He launches the experimental "Blue Lock" program, a closed training facility where three hundred young talents are gathered. The winner will get a chance to become the striker for the national team, while everyone else will lose that opportunity forever. Isagi becomes one of the participants in the project.
